St. Philomena’s Educational Institutions, Hassan invited GRID to conduct Workshops on Teacher Effectiveness for the teaching faculty. On 27 May 2025 a one-day workshop was conducted for 46 primary and high school teachers of St. Philomena School. A similar workshop was facilitated for 32 faculty of St. Philomena Pre-University College and St. Philomena First Grade College for Women the next day 28 May 2025.

The workshop included strategies for teaching and learning, VAK Model and the Four Cs of learning. The 21 st century learning skills of Four Cs namely communication, critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration were delivered though participatory activities, exercises and games. A file with educational articles as well as worksheets for exercises was given to every participant.

Sr. Jacintha D’Souza, the Director of St. Philomena’s Educational Institutions coordinated the programme which was facilitated by Prof. Joselyn Lobo of GRID. The faculty found the sessions ‘informative and ideas innovative’ and ‘helpful to improve teaching skills.’ It was a refreshing day with energising and warmup games.
