GRID conducted a half-day session on Self-awareness and Self-esteem for High School students of St. Joseph’s Parish, Belman in Karkala taluk of Udupi District. The programme, held on 12 October 2021, was attended by 90 children who enthusiastically participated in the activity-oriented session.

The main exercise was ‘Open Your Heart’ where the participants drew an outline of a heart and divided it into four sections and listed, among other things, the significance of their names and the things they like to do. In another exercise, the teenagers marked their positive qualities and were also open to feedback from their peers. Prof. Joselyn Lobo conducted the session and was assisted by two final year BSW students of Roshni Nilaya namely Ms. Jeslin John and Mr. Donald.
