LIFE LINE Heath Care, the Polyclinic in Falnir, Mangalore invited Group for Institution Development (GRID) to conduct training for their new staff members. The Workshop on Team Building and Communication held on Sunday, 28 September 2025 was the second event by GRID, earlier being a Soft Skills programme held in 2022.

The programme was facilitated by Prof. Joselyn T Lobo and assisted by Bharath, a MSW (HR) student of Roshni Nilaya college. The activities and exercises focusing on team work and interpersonal relationships included the human machine game, merry-go-round and ‘star qualities’ of team players. A short session on meaning and process of communication as well as role of perception in communication was included in the afternoon.

The event was the initiative of Dr. Muhammad Mubasshir, the Director of Life Line who is eager to organise training sessions to foster continuous learning of paramedical and other staff engaged in patient care under the aegis of Life Line. The group consisted of 21 participants who were participating for the first time as the earlier staff had left the organisation for better prospects. Mr. Sadiq Jarathar, the Lab Manager coordinated the programme and arranged the logistics.
