A Leadership Training Programme was conducted as part of the orientation for Student Council members of St. Aloysius Degree College, Mangalore on 25 November 2021. The Student Council consisting of class representatives and association secretaries comprised 250 leaders divided into three batches spread over three locations for the training session.

The sessions focused on leadership qualities, team work, self-awareness and creativity which are essential for leaders. The training was participatory in nature comprising of activities, exercises, games and energizers. The GRID facilitators were Prof. Joselyn Lobo, Ms. Luella Shanthi Lobo, Mr. Jayaprakash Rao and an external trainer Ms. Carol Pais. The council members actively participated in the sessions and appreciated the workshop.
