Group for Institution Development (GRID) facilitated a half-day Workshop on Soft Skills focusing mainly on Effective Communication for the staff of Cascades Data Solutions Dba INFOMATICS India Private Ltd, an IT company based in Mangalore. The programme, attended by 25 staff of the software company, focused on the communication process, listening skills and written communication including email etiquette.

The soft skills training programme was facilitated by Prof. Joselyn T Lobo, President and Consultant of GRID and coordinated by Ms. Almira Rodrigues and Ms. Jovita
Rebello of the HR Department of Infomatics. Ms. Catherine, MSW student of Roshni Nilaya assisted in the workshop. The programme was appreciated by all the participants and was rated as ‘Excellent’ by 17 participants while eight marked it ‘Good’ in a four-point evaluation scale.
