A one-day Workshop on Skills for the 21st Century was conducted for the teaching faculty of St. Joesph’s Joyland High School, Ullal on 22 May 2026. The participatory workshop focused on the Four Cs of the 21st Century learning skills comprising of Creativity, Critical thinking, Communication and Collaboration.

Prof. Joselyn T Lobo former Associate Professor and Consultant GRID (Group for Institution Development) was the chief facilitator. He was ably assisted by Ms. Neyna Shenoy, I BA student of Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore. The workshop started with a self-reflection exercise on personality and role of a teacher, after the warm-up game transfer relay which was played outdoors. The Four Cs were delivered through participatory activities, exercises, and games with the objective of replicating and incorporating them in the curriculum. The 25 teachers who attended the workshop actively participated in all the activities.

The workshop was initiated by Mrs. Frana Pinto, the Director of the School and coordinated by Mrs. Preethi K Vamanjoor, the administrator. Mrs. Jyothi welcomed the gathering and introduced the resource person while Mrs. Rachitha delivered the vote of thanks.
