Group for Institution Development (GRID) facilitated Group Dynamics sessions for two full days for the freshers of I MSW of School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore. The participatory oriented sessions were facilitated by Prof. Joselyn T Lobo, Consultant GRID and former Dean of Roshni Nilaya. The programme held on 24 & 25 July 2025 was rated as ‘Excellent’ by 76 percent of the participants, while 24 percent marked it as ‘Good’.

The various themes covered through activities and exercises included interpersonal relationships, group bonding, team work, self-awareness, creativity, and goal setting. Time was also allotted for displaying the freshers’ talents individually as well as in groups. Warm-up games and energizers which were interspersed in between the sessions were enjoyed by all.

The programme was held under the aegis of IQAC and initiated by Dr. Sophie Fernandes the Principal of the college. Dr. Sebastian and Dr. Meena Pereira, MSW faculty coordinated the event.
