Group for Institution Development (GRID) facilitated two half-day Workshops on Personal Development for youth of two low-income group communities in Bangalore. The programmes conduct under the aegis of Karnataka Kolegere Nivasigala Smukitha Sangatene a wing of Service Society, an NGO working with the marginalized.

The first workshop was held on Gandhi Jayanthi day 2 October 2021 in Krishanaiahna Palya slum where 37 college going youth participated. The second workshop was held in Hennur area where the participants numbered 20.

The programme covered activities related to self-awareness, interpersonal relationships and key areas of personal growth. Both the workshops were facilitated by Prof. Joselyn T Lobo, President and Chief Facilitator of GRID. The participatory workshops were appreciated by the students who also expressed the need for more such programmes.
